Terms & Conditions – Claims Assistance
- Policybazaar Insurance Web Aggregator Private Limited (referred to as Policybazaar) has only aggregated and created a network of third party repair and servicing workshops ("Garage(s)") for motor vehicles for its customers. You – the customer - in your sole discretion can choose to use this information for your purposes to use the third party network or require assistance in filing your claim with the Insurer.
- If, you, the customer in your sole discretion chooses to access any of the Garages, you do so in your own independent discretion. Should you, the customer opt to take the repair/servicing/garage’s services/facility (“Repair(s)”) for any motor vehicle which are provided by any garage, you understand and agree that these Repairs are provided by the garage in their capacity as an independent service provider. These Repair services include:
3 Day Repair Assurance :
- This repair service will be limited to upto 3 panels of the four wheeler, anything more will require more time and the same will be communicated in advance
- You will also be intimated, before the expiry of the 3 day term, of any delay that may occur in the repair of the vehicle due to:
- Week end or public holidays.
- In case of parts not being available and/ or the same is awaited by the workshop.
- Approval delays from insurer due to an open issue.
- In case of any dispute regarding pre-existing damages not being allowed by the surveyor.
- In case of any delay in submission of required documents pending from the customer.
- You specifically understand and agree that you need to approach us through our Claims Toll Free Number immediately post the accident to avail of this service.
Cashless Assurance :
- For policies procured through Policybazaar, where the option is available per the underlying policy terms, we confirm that you will receive cashless service at any of the Garages that you seek to get Repairs for your vehicle.
- You understand and agree, that Policybazaar shall not be responsible in any way, form or manner, should any Garage refuse to provide services on a cashless basis where the option is available per the underlying policy terms.
- Some garages which do not fulfil the definition / essentials of a garage as per the Insurer’s claim processes shall not be considered as part of the list of Garages where is this offering is available.
- You need to approach us through our Claims Toll free number immediately post the accident to avail of this service.
- Policybazaar does not provide and is not liable for any Repairs taken by you/user from the Garage in any way, form, manner and/or capacity whatsoever. Policybazaar also does not endorse the services of the Garages.
- Policybazaar specifically, shall not be liable for any payment obligation by the customer/user in relation to claims and/or repairs, which shall be vehicle owner's/customer’s sole responsibility.
- Policybazaar shall not be liable in way, form, manner and/or capacity whatsoever for any act(s)/omission(s) of the Garages and/or any defect/deficiency in Repairs including their refusal to provide the repairs.
- Any guarantee for any timelines provided by the Garage is subject to external factors and force majeure. Policybazaar shall not be liable for any lapse in time guarantee for Repairs/pick-up/delivery of vehicle.
- Any third party facility/offer(s)/service(s)/product(s) (“offer”) shall be subject to the terms and conditions of such third party which shall be applicable to the customer.
- Policybazaar does not endorse, make any representation and shall have no liability or obligation whatsoever in relation to such third party offer. All such third party offer(s) shall be availed by customer/you at their/your own risk and responsibility. Policybazaar shall not be liable for any payment obligation in relation to such third party offer, which shall be the customer’s/your sole responsibility.
- You understand and agree that Policybazaar is only a web aggregator and it can assist with insurance claims only to the extent of liaising with the insurance company. Any insurance claim shall be processed by the insurance company subject to their terms and conditions and the underlying insurance policy.
- Policybazaar reserves the sole right to modify, amend, change, refuse or revoke its respective services, any offers including third party offer herein at any time without assigning any reason and without any liability and notice.
